How to choose a starter kit...
A pack a day smoker smokes a cigarette, on average, every 48 minutes (16 hours per day times 60 minutes per hour equals 960 minutes per day, divided by 20 cigarettes, equals 48 minutes)...

A pack and a half a day smoker smokes a cigarette, on average, every half hour! (Actually, it comes out to every 32 minutes, using the same formula as above.), and a two pack a day smoker smokes a cigarette, on average, every 24 minutes!...

This means that when considering the purchase of an electronic cigarette starter kit, the length of time it takes to charge the battery is of utmost importance, because while the battery is charging, the smoker can't use it.(Once the battery charging process has begun, it should be left to charge until the charging process is complete.)

Most of our batteries recharge in about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. For a pack or less a day smoker, going an hour or an hour and fifteen minutes without a cigarette really isn't a problem (usually). But, for someone who smokes more than a pack a day, the length of time it takes to recharge the battery is well out of the range of their smoking habit, and a second battery (or complete cigarette, depending upon the starter kit) should be considered when making the starter kit purchase. This way, the smoker can continue enjoying the benefits of their e-cigarette during the charging process.
